Twas the "DAY" before Christmas

Instead of reading the traditional "Twas the Night Before Christmas" on Christmas eve, Melissa was experiencing her own version of "Twas the "Day" Before Christmas". At about 1:30 AM on December 24 Melissa insisted that we load Santa's sleigh and make our way to the hospital. Vacant roads and encouragement (insisting encouragment) made for a quick ride to the hospital in Price. Arriving around 2:10AM and being shuffled around (do to many other "Twas the "day" before Christmas experiences), less than 45 minutes later (total time of 47 minutes to be precise), Melissa delivered an early precious Christmas present, Brock Devin Esplin. He weighed in at 6 lbs 4 ounces at just 20 inches long. The nurses and doctors were great, all adding to this "Christmas Story" that will surely "dance in our heads" for many years to come. Apparently Brock wanted to be here to hear the story, little does he know that he is this years "Christmas Story".

Brock so far has been a quiet baby
A happy mother

Dad is most excited that this story didn't originate from the car on the drive over
