The Wonder's of Christmas

It is refreshing to see in the eyes of a child the "wonders" of Christmas. This past weekend Parker displayed and enjoyed the "wonders" of Christmas.

Lights at Temple Square

The wonders of the Christmas lights at Temple Square (apparently the view from Uncle Dustin's shoulders made it that much more "wonderful"). Though the lights surrounding Temple square were a sight to see, the lights illuminating the temple itself repeatedly caught Parker's attention.
Christmas Town

A visit to Great Grandma and Grandpa Swenson was full of "wonders". From the snow globe to the village around the Christmas tree it was hard to tell who was in more awe, Grandma and Grandpa or Parker?
Santa's lap

All it took was leaving Parker with Uncle Scott and Aunt Janice to convince Parker that, as Parker puts it "Santa's nice". A little coaxing, a candy cane from Santa, and Uncle Scott prying Parker from his leg seemed to do the trick. Santa has placed mom and dad on the naughty list as they abandoned Parker and went to the Mormon Tabernacle Choir concert at temple square.

Wonders Yet to Come

One can only imagine what "wonders" are in store for the rest of the Christmas season as Parker embarks on potty training, dad getting coal for Christmas, a new addition joining the family, and other inevitable surprises at this time of year.

*at the time this was posted, little did we know that our greatest "wonder" would be born 4 days later on Christmas eve!
