Gardens

Growing up I enjoyed working alongside my dad in the garden. He would take me to Grandpa's garden where we would pull weeds and navigate water down the furrows. Our reward after a hard days work would be a stalk of rhubarb or fresh green beans off the vine.

This past weekend, memories of those garden days came back as my dad and mom came to visit Castle Dale. Once again we found ourselves in the garden. This time we were preparing and planting. Though it is yet to be determined what final rewards will come of our garden, the rewards of spending time with family and working side by side with them is a reward that even the freshest of fruits and vegetables fail in comparison.
